New York, NY, 2014 | Role: Design Assist, Fabrication Coordination, Artist Collaboration

Afoam worked with artist Tattfoo Tan to design and oversee the fabrication NEAKA (New Earth Apocalypse Knowledge Advancement); an aluminum structure in the form of a catamaran . NEAKA acts as a symbol for a post-economic meltdown, global warming and serves as a vitrine for artist Tattfoo Tan’s ongoing social practice project- NEMRE (New Earth Meal Ready to Eat), a dehydrated meal harvested from food waste.
